Luncheon Seminar Series – Innovation

September 6, 2022
The HKU-UBS Sustainable and Social Innovation Leadership Programme

HKU-UBS SSILP is a new collaboration which seeks to:

1. Build capacity and competence of NPO current and future leaders;

2. Develop network and collaborations among NPOs, Philanthropies, Public Sector and Academics;

3. Incubate and innovate new projects that are sustainable.

To kick off the new initiative, the team is launching a series of lunch-and-learn ‘Taster’ Sessions hosted online to facilitate wide participation during our busy lunch time. Please join us with your lunch to learn together.

In this third SSILP Taster Sessions we will explore Innovation with two seasoned leaders as our guest panellists. Participants will be introduced to various aspects of social innovation in non-profits (program design, organizational change and adaption), gain knowledge and insights about the trends and significance of social innovation in the nonprofit sector and explore examples of how to apply design-methods for creative problem solving to promote social goods. Participants are encouraged to actively participate and interact with our guests in this seminar.

Panelists:
Ms. Christine Fung, Senior Marketing and Communications Manager, InspiringHK Sports Foundation
Prof. Albert Ko, Director, Lingnan Entrepreneurship Initiative
