
Dr. Branda Yu is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration at The University of Hong Kong. She completed her BSocSc in Psychology and MA in Guidance and Counselling, and subsequently earned her Ph.D. in Psychology from The University of Hong Kong in 2024. Dr. Yu’s early work centered on clinical trials for mood and sleep disorders, with her recent research focusing on understanding how psychosocial factors influence mental health. Her doctoral research focused on how political disagreements between older adults and their young adult children impact family dynamics and well-being. Additionally, she has research interests in screen time and circadian rhythms.
