HKU SWSA Counselling Unit cordially invites general public joining the Peer Support Group for Sustainable Wellbeing. People who are currently non-HKU students and non-HKU staffs are welcome. Details as below:
Have you been feeling stressed recently?
This peer support group is a safe space facilitated by a counselling trainee, a current student of MSocSc in Counselling at HKU. Alongside peers who are experiencing similar emotions, you will unpack the roots of the distress, learn hands-on skills for stress management and boundary setting.
At the end of the 5 sessions, each participant will have their personalized stress-management blueprint that they can take beyond the therapy room.
Filled with personal sharing, CBT-based activities and self-reflection, the group serves as a reminder that you are not alone, and that whatever the circumstances, it is possible to learn how to navigate it well.
