Biography

Dr. Tingyu Luo, with a Ph.D. in Social Work from the University of Hong Kong, has developed a diverse research portfolio that spans a wide range of target groups, including youth and families, individuals who use drugs, and nonprofit organizations along with their intervention programs.

Her primary focus is on children and parents in families facing various disadvantages, such as poverty, drug use, and migration. She aims to understand family dynamics and address the psychological and social challenges these families encounter, ultimately fostering family quality of life. She is committed to organizational research, particularly in helping nonprofit organizations build their capacity to deliver effective services and create social impact for vulnerable populations.
