We’re delighted to share that Prof. Cheryl H.K. CHUI has been appointed Co-leader of the Steering Group for Innovation in Ageing at the Global Observatory of Long-term Care (GOLTC), part of the International Long-term Care Policy Network (ILPN) at the London School of Economics and Political Science. The GOLTC’s Innovation in Long-term Care Interest Group convenes researchers, policymakers, practitioners, and advocates to advance evidence-based, people-centred innovations that strengthen long-term care systems worldwide. As Co-leader, Prof. CHUI will help guide the group’s priorities, foster international collaboration, and support the identification, evaluation, and dissemination of promising models, technologies, and policies that improve access, quality, equity, and sustainability of care for older adults and caregivers. This leadership role underscores our department’s contribution to shaping global conversations on ageing and long-term care, accelerating the translation of research into practice, and promoting scalable solutions that countries and community partners can adopt to build resilient, person-centred care ecosystems.
